On
Tuesday at our District meeting, we celebrated my birthday and the birthday of
an elder. And our mission president surprised us by being there! So I got to
have a picture with him and his family.
Then
later, Tuesday night we were waiting outside of the house of a family that we
had a cita with and we were super hungry. So I made the joke that I wished they
would bring us something to eat since all the stores near by were closed. Sure
enough they arrived and had food! But then we thought they were going to eat in
front of us, but when we got in they gave each of us one. My wish came true! It
was very off and random. But very good chicken!
Wednesday
was the birthday of the son of our pensionista and they threw a party! With a
clown and everything. We got invited in to watch a little but we didn't have
our cameras, but it was crazy! The clown wasn't all that funny though.
On the 10th I completed a year on the mission!
On
my birthday, we made cookies with this family who was kind enough to let us use
their oven! They are so sweet and we spent most of the day with them. This is
Mabel and her son Marco. She has two daughters as well, Pamela and
Leydi.
On
Sunday we were out walking when it started hailing! We ran home because it hurt
so much and made it slippery and hard to walk in. We don't get snow, but we do
get hail!
Today
we went to Lampa and we had to take a picture with our ponchos! So cool!
We
are hoping for a baptism this Saturday. Hna Rosa is really excited and has her
interview tomorrow! I think everything will turn out just fine. So excpect more
news on that!
Love
you all! Hope you have a good week!
